Of course, I also had fantasies of some sort, that is ongoing. Yes, it goes on until now. 

The following wall of text that you will see is embarrassing for me, but since we had Dark Flame Master, Burning Fighting Fighter, Rikka Takanashi and Akishino Himeka (not to mention Fuyuumi Ai) being proactive in their chuunibyou stance, I might as well share you my dreams and aspirations. As with other things, most of the things I will share to you is 100% FAKE, and is a creation of fiction.

I was dreaming of being the Anime Mogul I would like to, as a head of a local terrestrial channel named Channel 8 (or simply 8) that serves the youth (and does not bother the neighboring networks) with Anime and Tech stuff, contributing to the number of hyper yuppies.

I have fantasies of meeting Mai Nakahara in a radio station I own. That would be AM 1134*, in which I bought from the guys who are running it right now. We would host a show. I had an Avaya phone and a directory of telephone numbers of the notable and not-so-notable voice actresses beside me, making it easy to ping them in just a keypad press. We do that every Saturday mornings.

I own a terrestrial channel in Japan and Manila, and I also have radio divisions in the United States and I will soon conquer the European cable TV scene soon.

I am an executive producer of a weekly show called 8HQ (which means the 8 Anime News Headquarters; or 8 Anime News in 16:9 HQ format) that airs every Sunday noon, with Aoi Yuuki and Sakura Ayane as the anchors donning business suits. It’s studios is somewhere around Akiba, near the AKB48 theater. The opening BGM is Symphogear’s DISTORTION ZONE. 

Our Manila headquarters is in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, and we have a giant transmitter there. In our Manila headquarters, we have a building that houses the main operations of the network: The Mai Tokiha wing, the Fate T. Harlaown wing, and the Madoka Kaname Wing. In the Tokiha wing, there is a pathway at the second level (The Cornelia, named after local voice actress Grace Cornel, which shared her voice with hundreds of characters locally — she’s the Tagalog VA for Tokiha.) that connects to the next building that we have, which is the Radio8 headquarters, One (Erza) Scarlet Lane. We’re beside South of Market.

We have a standalone headquarters in the 5th Level of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong, near the Megatrade Halls and a short space at the Mall of Asia Complex near the SMX Convention Center. 

We broadcast in ISDB-T through Channel 55, which we also call 8HQ — similar to Aksyon and AksyonTV. We do have satellite channels in Cebu and Davao, but we mostly cater to the Provincial Cable TV audience.

The usual broadcasts of 8 ranges from late-night anime simulcasts to anime documentaries to primetime anime and such. We do have live on-the-spot events coverage which preempts most shows on weekends.

Aside from the 8HQ, I was dreaming of getting Tokyo Encounter (that is Tomokazu Sugita and Yuuichi Nakamura) and tag them with Yuki Kaji and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka for a show called Game Time, where they play various console games.

I also have DekaPink and DekaYellow to host a show called TokuZone.

Not to mention, we also serve wotas. Akimoto Sayaka and Nakaya Sayaka also has a show over there on Idol News.

We tied in with TWiT and The Verge for the tech stuff, too.

We own a website called Eight.co, which houses the digital content of the network.
